Man United’s injury list
The international break hasn’t been too kind to Manchester United.
The Red Devils are trying to break into the Premier League’s top four having extended an unbeaten run in the EPL to 18 matches.
Man United beat Middlesbrough 3-1 just before the international break, which lifted Mourinho’s men into fifth spot in the division. United are four points behind Liverpool with two games in hand.
When the league restarts this weekend, United take on West Brom at the Theatre of Dreams, however it’s likely Mourinho will have some selection headaches as several stars have picked up knocks.
What’s the story?
Phil Jones and Chris Smalling both left the England camp early after the defenders suffered knocks.
To compound matters, it’s been reported that Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out of Belgium’s friendly against Russia on Tuesday after he suffered a toe injury in the World Cup qualifier against Greece.
It’s unclear how long Fellaini will be on the sidelines with his setback.
