Liverpool are the latest club to show an interest in Sampdoria attacker Luis Muriel, according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.
The Colombian forward has struck 10 goals in 29 Serie A appearances so far, with another two goals coming in two Coppa Italia games, and is being linked with a host of European clubs.
Inter, Roma, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have previously been mooted with a move for 25-year-old Muriel, with Jurgen Klopp's side now thought to be in the running.
MAN UTD HOLD MERTENS TALKS
Manchester United have held initial talks with Napoli forward Dries Mertens, according to Mediaset via Football Italia.
The Belgium international's contract is up at the end of the next season and the Red Devils have already spoken to the player via telephone regarding a summer transfer.
CHELSEA WIN VAN DIJK RACE
Chelsea believe they have beaten Manchester City in the race to sign Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk, according to the Daily Mirror.
Antonio Conte has made the Netherlands international his priority target this summer and is set to spend £50 million to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
EVERTON TURN TO MAGUIRE
Everton have added Hull City defender Harry Maguire to their shortlist of potential summer signings, according to Daily Mail.
Toffees director of football Steve Walsh has been impressed by the centre-back, though they could face competition from Middlesbrough and Southampton for his signature.
REDS EYE £92M MADRID DUO
Liverpool are plotting summer moves for Real Madrid midfielders James Rodriguez and Marco Asensio, according to The Sun.
The duo have fallen down the pecking order at Santiago Bernabeu, though they would likely cost a combined £92 million in the current market.
MANCHESTER CLUBS IN FOR KIMMICH
Manchester City and Manchester United have both made concrete enquiries about Bayern Munich wonderkid Joshua Kimmich, according to Kicker.
The 22-year-old wants to play in midfield but could be used more frequently as a right-back in Germany once Philipp Lahm retires, and two unnamed Spanish clubs have also expressed an interest in him.
CHELSEA WANT £70M STRIKER
Chelsea are willing to spend as much as £70 million on a striker this season, according to The Sun, but are yet to pick a main target between Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.
Antonio Conte's favourite is Morata, who has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season despite failing to nail down a regular starting spot at Real Madrid. Technical director, Michael Emenalo, on the other hand, sees Lukaku as the better option, having seen the Belgian score 22 goals in 30 games for Everton this term.
ARSENAL & SPURS EYE SAMP STAR
Czech Republic international striker Patrik Schick is being watched by both Arsenal and Tottenham and his agent was due to hold talks with the Premier League side on Wednesday, the Daily Mail reports.
The 21-year-old has scored nine times this season and has a buy-out clause valued at £21 million.
NASRI OFF TO TURKEY?
Galatasaray are set to make a bid for Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri, according to Maxifoot.
Sevilla are reportedly wavering over whether to activate the buy-out clause in his loan agreement and if they do not the Turkish outfit are ready to pounce.
The Frenchman's deal with City is up in 2019, so it is doubtful that they will accept the Turks' offer of a loan move with a purchase option.
BELLERIN AGREES BARCA MOVE
Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has told Barcelona that is willing to move to Camp Nou this summer, according to SER Catalunya radio show La Graderia.
Bellerin is said to have held a secret London meeting with Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez to make his former club aware of his impending availability.
JUVE WANT ANDRE GOMES
Juventus are once again interested in signing Andre Gomes, according to CalcioMercato.
The Old Lady tried to sign the Portuguese midfielder from Valencia but were muscled out of the deal by Barcelona. With Gomes having underperformed since arriving at Camp Nou, Juve feel they now have a better chance of bringing him to Turin
