Zanaco are hoping to host Young Africans of Tanzania at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka this Saturday in their 2017 Caf Champions League final leg fixture.
The Zambian champions have been set to play some of their continental matches at the 60 000 seater venue.
Heroes Stadium recently hosted the final of the 2017 Under-20 African Cup of Nations that Zambia won 2-0 on March 12 against Senegal.
“It is not yet confirmed as we are still discussing with them (Heroes Stadium management) the use of the Heroes National Stadium,” Numba said.
Zanaco have already played two matches at Heroes Stadium in the 2016 season, when they hosted Nkana in a rescheduled Week 7 match on July 2 that the home side won 2-0 in the league.
They later lost 1-0 to Zesco United at the same venue in the 2016 Barclays Cup final on November 26.
Zanaco do not use their Sunset Stadium home ground for their continental matches, but play them up the road at Nkoloma Stadium.
Numba’s side head into their March 18 date against Young Africans level at 1-1 from the first round, first leg match played on March 11 in Dar-es-Salaam.
Victory this weekend will send Zanaco through to the Champions League group phase, while elimination will see them relegated to the pre-group stage of the Confederation Cup in April.
