    Liverpool were dealt with the news that Jordan Henderson faces the next couple of weeks sidelined with a foot injury after images emerged of him on crutches.
    The midfielder missed The Reds’ victory over Arsenal last weekend and was once again absent for the 2-1 win over Burnley on Sunday.
    And, after the match, manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that Henderson will miss next week’s massive match against Manchester City and has ‘no chance’ of playing for England at the end of March.
    Unfortunately, it’s something that Liverpool fans have come to expect from Henderson.
    Last season, he only played 17 league matches as he struggled with a heel injury and he’s battled through the majority of this campaign clearly carrying some sort of knock.
    Liverpool supporters must fear that they might not see Henderson back in the starting line-up before the end of the season as they compete for a top-four spot.
    But one man that won’t be surprised to see Henderson sidelined yet again is a certain Sir Alex Ferguson.

    WHAT FERGUSON SAID ABOUT HENDERSON;

    The legendary Scottish manager explained in his autobiography that he had the chance to sign Henderson when he was at Sunderland with Steve Bruce - who was then Sunderland boss - suggesting that he signed him for Manchester United.
    However, Ferguson admitted in his book - per the Daily Mail -  that he turned down the opportunity because he thought Henderson's running gait "might cause him injury problems later in his career”.

    HENDERSON RESPONDED TO FERGUSON;

    After the autobiography was published, Henderson was asked about Ferguson’s claims.
    "It was sort of a compliment, to be honest," he says. "If you read what was said, he and Steve Bruce were talking and Steve was speaking very highly of me at the time.
    "And Sir Alex decided against a move because of my running style. I think I must have been doing something right for him to be watching me so closely!"

    While it’s impossible to say that Henderson’s recent injuries are down to his running style, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time Ferguson has predicted a players’ future correctly.
    But Liverpool fans won’t pay Ferguson’s comments much attention and will just be hoping their captain is back in time for the Merseyside Derby that takes place after the international break on April Fool’s Day.
