Leo Messi v the officials
Argentina got the win they badly needed.
Chile had beaten La Albiceleste in the last two Copa America finals, but on Thursday night in Buenos Aires, Argentina got a modicum of revenge recording a 1-0 win in a crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier.
The only goal of the game came from Leo Messi, as the Barcelona star scored from the penalty spot.
But Messi made headlines for his bad behaviour too in the Chile game, as the forward was filmed swearing at the officials.
Facing suspension?
According to reports in Ole, Messi insulted two officials in the Chile game.
Leo hurled abuse at assistants Marcelo Vangasse and Dewson Silva, and both incidents were broadcasted on TV.
That lead to conflicting reports from the Argentine media suggesting that Messi could face a suspension for his bad behaviour.
