Dirty stamp from Marcos Rojo
Man United were reduced to ten men during their FA Cup defeat at Chelsea when Ander Herrera was sent off in the first half after two fouls on Eden Hazard.
While some believed Herrera’s two yellow cards were questionable, others felt Man United were lucky to only have one player dismissed.
Marcos Rojo was caught up in a series of scuffles throughout the 90 minutes, while the Argentine defender stand accused of stamping on Hazard in an incident which the officials never saw.
Rojo, after tripping Hazard outside the United box, landed his sides on the side of the Belgian’s torso.
Hazard immediately yelped and pointed at Rojo, but the officials didn’t react.
Considering how Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings has just been slapped with a five game ban for stamping on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s head, should Rojo also be subjected to a retrospective punishment for his foul on Hazard?
