Burundi’s head coach of national soccer, Alain Oliver Niyungeko has commended Dar es Salaam Simba’s striker Laudit Mavugo and proposed for him to give more experience to his national team.
"Laudit Mavugo has great potentials to offer them to his national team mates he added.
Mavugo served as the league's top scorer in Burundi last season.
The coach said even in the national team he was doing well, “Mavugo began to do well in the first matches after joining Simba.
He however disappeared and when he came back he was benched but later emerged to perform well and regained his number in the first eleven –team, he said.
Mavugo last week scored the only goal in the game against Tanzania Stars in a match which Tanzania beat Burundi 2-1.
